Banjo Paterson was born in Orange on 17 February 1864 and what better way to celebrate than to gather the best bush poets from across Australia in competition, entertainment and story telling.
Do not miss the Banjo Paterson Poetry Festival which will be held from 12 to 20th February 2022 in Orange and surrounding locations. Featuring our Rotary sponsored ‘Poetry on the Pavers’ and barbeque brekky on Monday 14 February and Tuesday 15 February at Civic Centre Southcourt near the library and ending the Festival with our Community Market Day on Sunday 20 February at Orange Showground – there is something for everyone!
