Badlands Brewery and Taproom

Badlands Brewery and Taproom

The taproom has now opened its doors to locals, and visitors with a family friendly venue offering 14 beers on tap, as well as an assortment of locally made wines. Catered by local food businesses such as Upperhouse Indian restaurant, and food trucks with special events happening every week ranging from live music, to darts, as well as board games for everyone to enjoy.

It's the perfect place to bring the whole family to enjoy a fun, and relaxed atmosphere while admiring the view of the brewhouse, and our brewers at work.

Badlands brewery was established in 2010 by long-time home-brewer, Jon Shiner, who has been executing his passion for brewing ‘dangerously drinkable’ beers ever since.
Funded on a shoestring as part of Jon’s corporate-life escape plan. Badlands has grown organically, consistently and impressively.
Our home is on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri people, to the west of The Great Dividing Range, in the foothills of Mt Canobolas, in Orange, NSW. Our region is known for its rich food and wine culture, and is rapidly becoming a mecca for craft beer lovers. All Badlands Brewery’s core beers are made only with malted wheat and barley, water, yeast and hops and come to you as nature intended – unfiltered and free of preservatives and additives. They will never contain cheap adjuncts favoured by the larger breweries, such as corn, rice or can sugar and are hand-crafted, at 1000Lt a time on a manual, hands-on brewhouse.
