Sugar, Spice and All Things Nice – A 3rd Birthday Tea Party

Sugar, Spice and All Things Nice – A 3rd Birthday Tea Party

There’s no denying little girls are made of sugar, spice and all things nice (most of the time), so there’s only one way to bring in your 3rd birthday (according to the birthday girl herself)- Tea Party!

It’s needn’t cost an arm and a leg, Orange Botanic Gardens provides the perfect backdrop for any princess’s tea party, throw in a small table, lacey tablecloth and a few pink bears, some fake flowers and you’re good to go.

Now its’ obviously not a tea party without a tea pot, I rummaged through the cupboard and had this perfect pretty pink teapot lying around (I knew I made that impulse buy three years ago for a reason). Don’t forget the matching teacups (another impulse buy- to match the teapot of course).

To adorn the table of a 3 year old’s tea party, some homemade vanilla cupcakes with pretty edible butterflies, some vanilla cookies with pretty edible images and some melted white chocolate transformed into bite sized pink parcels. If you can’t be bothered cooking up a storm– store bought treats would be just as perfect!

So for just a small out of pocket expense a fun little tea party, fit for royalty, to celebrate a special birthday. Just make sure the spotlight stays on the birthday girl- otherwise she won’t be happy
