Help raise vital funds for Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer – Date published August 13, 2022

Organiser: Dr Lauren Bradbury

On Saturday 8th October Dr Andrew Parsonson & I will be leading the Blue Mountains Gutsy Challenge. We will be trekking 15km along the Grand Clifftop Walk to raise awareness and vital funds for Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer research – a cause that is close to my heart and to which I am committed to seeing change.

Over 28,600 Australians are diagnosed with a GI cancer each year. Clinical trials research is essential to improving treatment options and outcomes for GI cancer patients. It is only through the valuable support of the community that we can achieve this change! Show your support here.

Organiser: Tivarna Johnson

Hi, my name is Tivarna. I’m a 25 year old single mother of two beautiful girls. Friday 5/8/22 I was in a major car accident resulting in our family car being written off. This is far from easy to do as I’m always helping everyone else whilst putting myself last. But I’ve come to realise in the last few days that I need help and it’s okay to reach out. To support Tivarna see here.
