Orange Cultural Precinct

The Orange Cultural Precinct is situated opposite Robertson Park in Byng Street. It includes the fantastic Orange Regional Museum, the Orange Visitors Centre, the always wonderful Groundstone Café, the Orange Regional Library, the Orange Regional Gallery as well as The Orange Civic theatre which is now planning performances for 2021. The Precinct is always worth a visit and is particularly suited to visits with children who will love the amazing art & museum exhibitions as well as the fun list of free events hosted by the library.

Be inspired, celebrate, immerse yourself, create and gather.

Orange Regional Gallery is temporarily closed for an exciting redevelopment. The extension project will include a new 270 square metre contemporary gallery with ground-breaking lighting design, a 75 seat gallery theatre, a new state-of-the art storage and conservation area and refurbishments to existing spaces. Thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Regional Cultural Fund ($4,052,990) and Orange City Council ($1,000,000) construction will commence in the second half of 2020 and is due for completion in mid-2021.
Join a community of donors who are bringing the extension to its full potential. The Gallery needs your support in raising vital funds to make up design costs and complete the best possible fit out for their ground-breaking facility. Visit www.orange.nsw.gov.au/gallery/extension
