It’s week two of the Winter Fire Festival in the Park!
Robertson Park has been transformed into a winter-wonderland of FREE live performances and experiences including:
> A Spiegeltent (the Kazador) hosting a range of live performances from circus and magic to comedy and cabaret.
> Throughout the weekend we are hosting revolving 20 mins shows in the Kazador from 11am -4pm, to ensure you don’t miss out around weekend sport runs and nap times!
> Once the kids are asleep, there are comedy shows for the adults every night from Thursday 11 August to Sunday 14 August, including some of Australia’s most talented comedians.
> On Friday 12 August and Saturday 13 August at 9pm join us for late night cabaret. These shows include a lot of fun for the adults and are $30 a ticket.
> Outside the Kazador in the festival garden, have a go at trapeze at the circus ‘Drop Zone’, which also includes live professional aerial shows.
> Let the kids test their skills at the circus in the Circus Tent, open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm.
> Lantern-making workshop from 10am-5pm on Saturday 13 August and Sunday 14 August.
> Come down and join the Mad Hatter crew for a coffee, cocktail and delicious snack. We’ll have the fire pit going on Friday and Saturday nights!
> A closing festival event on Saturday 13 August, featuring a lantern parade from the Southcourt to Robertson Park, live music from the O’Donnell Trio, fire sculpting, a fire show, fire pit and delicious Mad Hatter cocktails and snacks.
