A charity afternoon tea and panel discussion with fab local women to raise funds for Moorambilla voices, and celebrate community and creativity.
Mother and daughter duo, Angela and Liz Schaffer, traveled nearly 12,000 km to interview a range of fascinating women across NSW, and Pearls book is filled with their heartfelt stories.
To celebrate Pearls and the joy of simply coming together, we’re having an afternoon tea and panel chat with some of our fabulous local interviewees. All proceeds will be donated to Moorambilla Voices, a choir which gives regional children the opportunity to grow and learn as they create, perform and record a repertoire of inspiring music under the tutelage of leaders in the musical field.
Meet our panel:
Colleen Southwell – Artist, garden maker and creator of The Garden Curator
Madi Young – Artist and Founder /Director of The Corner Store Gallery
Nicole Samadol – Owner, Winemaker and Viticulture expert at Rowlee Wines
Michelle Leonard – Founder, conductor and Artistic Director of Moorambilla Voices, which helps country kids find their voice, their passion and even their path for the future.
Liz Schaffer – MC and Founder/Editor of Lodestars Anthology magazine
There will be some wonderful raffle prizes, with artwork and copies of Pearls available to purchase on the day.
