Katrina's passionate about increasing medical services in rural communities

Katrina Robertson, discovered her interest in radiography during a memorable horse riding accident resulting in an X-Ray when she was a child. Many years after, the events surrounding that day and her experience as a Sonographer and Radiographer led her to create KLR Medical.

KLR Medical was established in 2017 after Katrina identified the need for essential ultrasound services within the Blayney area.
The Blayney Ultrasound practice is committed to providing premium imaging in a warm, inviting atmosphere. At the time of opening, it was the only practice in the Central West to offer 3D/4D ultrasounds without a referral.

Katrina expanded KLR Medical around 12 months ago to provide sonographers and other medical professionals the option to hire an ultrasound machine. This has allowed medical professionals to reduce their business expenses, open their clinics sooner and avoid downtime with broken equipment. Meaning more medical services in communities across Australia. See With Sound also provides vital training around ultrasound for medical professionals, enabling better patient care.

Katrina has shown excellent leadership and mentorship skills with the development of virtual coaching and courses. Providing the information and resources needed has guided medical professionals in the process of opening their own businesses and enabled them to make a difference in their own communities.

Katrina is passionate about improving healthcare services in regional communities. Through collaborations with universities, Katrina provides essential practical experience to future ultrasound graduates.
