Lisa is a dedicated educator who always gives her all to care for her students. Even when she is sick, she is still thinking about and preparing meaningful work for her students. She is kind and compassionate and students love to be in her class. Parents love her teaching their children as she has an amazing ability to get the best out of all of her students.
One example of Lisa’s amazing abilities in teaching includes starting the year with a student who could not read at all and would muck up in class due to his inability to read. Other teachers had marked him as disruptive. Lisa worked with this student, starting with audio books and progressing through programs to the point that he is now able to read at the same level as his peers. This is an amazing achievement and just one example of how amazing Lisa is as a teacher.
Lisa has worked in both mainstream and special needs classrooms and she cares about each child individually. She has a degree in Primary education and a Master's degree in Special and Inclusive Education
Lisa has been a teacher for over 20 years. She currently works at Orange Public School, where the students are excited to see her each day.
The future of teaching needs more teachers like Lisa, caring for each individual child and personalising the learning experience to get the best out of every student.
