Robbie Robinson

Based in Orange, Ex-teacher and Purveyor of business “The Market Cat” or Robbie Robinson as he is more typically known, has been providing top-quality Central West produce to leading restaurants/ and hotels to Sydney, The Blue Mountains, Canberra, and Qantas since 1985. 

Robbie was also one of the original Orange FOOD WEEK founders 1991 -1997 and was president of the committee from 1994-95.

Robbie lived in the United Kingdom from 1997-2016 and was an Export Director of Australian wine to Russia, Japan, Europe, Canada, and the UK. 

After returning to Orange, in 2016, Robbie picked up “The Market Cat” business in 2019, with an emphasis on Wild Mushrooms, Hoshigaki, Miso, and other artisanal products.
