YogArt in the school holidays

YogArt

YogArt is one of the hightlights on our calendar each year.  Join us on Thursday 20 January for YogArt -Yoga and Art for children and young adults.  There are many benefits of yoga including strength and co-ordination, developing focus, and learning to be quiet and still.  Fiona, from StoryTime at Orange City Library, incorporates these key skills as she leads the younger children on an adventure or a mission, using imagination and their listening skills.  More challenging poses are introduced to the older children as Sharon develops awareness, focus, and learning to relax.  The young adults will work with awareness of breath, practice more intricate and dynamic poses, and do a relaxation segment.  We are offering the following age groups:

3-6yrs, 7-12yrs, and 13yrs+.

There are always 2-3 teachers present in the room to assist and encourage the students.  We will provide a snack of fruit between the sessions.

Your children will be very welcome to join us!  Use the link below to  purchase a pass online.  There are discounts for siblings so choose the correct pass for the number of children.  You can also go to our website timetable and click on session you wish to book and it will take you through the booking steps.
