Domestic violence remains a serious issue in Central West NSW, affecting individuals and families across our communities. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic or family violence, support is available for all people.

Local & Regional Services

The Orchard, Orange – phone 1800 674 474A crisis accommodation service providing safe housing and support for women and children escaping domestic and family violence.

Mission Australia phone 1800 932 118 – A national charity offering housing, homelessness support, mental health services, and programs to help people regain independence.

Western NSW Community Legal Centre – phone 1800  874 998 – Provides free legal advice and advocacy for people experiencing family violence, housing insecurity, and other legal challenges.

Orana Support Service – phone 1800 353 199 – Offers crisis accommodation, homelessness support, and domestic violence services in the Orana region.

Connecting Community Services  – phone 1800 319 551 – A community-focused organisation delivering support in areas such as aged care, disability services, family support, and crisis assistance.

Orange Local and Aboriginal Land Council – phone (02) 6361 4742 – Supports the Aboriginal community with housing, employment, and cultural programs.
