Come along to a free information session to learn about the history of constitutional recognition, what the Uluru Statement from the Heart is, and what the Voice to Parliament referendum means. Uluru Statement merchandise will also be available for purchase.
This free session is open to all members of the community to help you better understand the background to the upcoming referendum. Light refreshments will be provided. Please arrive for early for a 10.30am start.
This session will cover similar content to the sessions held in May 2023. If you attended the May information session, we encourage you to come along and bring some family, friends or colleagues. The three July sessions will each cover the same content, so please only attend one of the sessions. The other sessions will be held on Tuesday 25 July at 6.00pm or Sunday 30 July at 3pm. If you’re unable to join in person, please join us online on Tuesday 1 August at 6pm.
The sessions will be delivered by a panel of First Nations representatives from the Uluru Youth Dialogue and Orange Region Voice Working Group. The Orange Region Voice Group is a collective of Indigenous and non-Indigenous representatives from the Orange community who are committed to educating the community about the upcoming referendum.
By registering for this event, you can also sign up to hear more from us through the Orange Region Voice Supporter Mailing List and hear from the Working Group about our activities, upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.
